About the Fund
The Fund’s mission:
The Cultural Participation Fund is committed to supporting innovative projects that encourage everyone living in the Netherlands to get involved in arts and culture. We aim to act as a bridge between the arts and society.
In achieving our mission, we have developed three programmes: education in the arts and culture, encouraging amateur arts, and talent development. We work with government authorities, other (private) funds, private partners and knowledge institutions to maximise our impact.
The Fund seeks to pursue its mission by achieving the following targets:
- Helping to provide Quality Cultural Education, especially for children;
- Helping to encourage innovative, engaging and sustainable events and activities that foster active participation in the arts and culture in the Netherlands;
- Helping to identify and nurture talent in the Netherlands.
